Zero West
Portsmouth-built tool watches with distinctive case engineering, in-house assembly and a growing dial-development operation.
Verification note
Official model pages state five-axis case machining plus in-house assembly, regulation and testing. Exact subcontracting and dial-production scope should still be confirmed model by model.
The record
Zero West combines aviation and transport history with modern CNC-led case engineering and in-house watch assembly.
Current product pages state five-axis machining, hand assembly, regulation and testing in-house. The Z-Branch workshop also describes bringing dial manufacture and printing into the studio.
The site therefore treats Zero West as partial Tier I, while keeping a visible caveat around which machining stages are performed directly for each model.
Editorial angle
One of the strongest omissions from the initial brief: a British workshop doing more than final case-closing and saying so in technical language.
